In April 2023, we had the opportunity to present our work at the ENRECA Seminar held in Bodø, Norway. Our presentation, titled “Transmission of Traditions: A Journey Report on the Translation of Concepts from Old Turkish to Modern Dutch,” focused on the process of translating cultural concepts from Old Turkish to contemporary Dutch.

Our team, consisting of Ömer F. Gürlesin, Ina ter Avest, İbrahim Kurt, Alper Alaşag, Onur Topaloğlu, and Orhan Bircan, collaborated effectively to successfully complete this project.

Established in 1999, the European Network for Religious Education in Contextual Approaches (ENRECA) serves as a platform for collaboration and discussion on the evolving role of religious education in Europe.
