Our Mission:
Is to develop solutions for modern life while upholding human rights and fostering scientific thinking and questioning skills to protect the principles of Dutch law and democracy. Additionally, we strive to foster connections between various groups in public opinion and integrate religious, social, and educational sciences.

Is to fulfill our mission by being a pioneering civil society organization in the Netherlands, serving as a model worldwide, and being accredited by official institutions for our accomplishments.
The Foundation for Identity Development and Empowerment in Interfaith Spaces (IDEIS) is a non-profit organization established in 2017, aiming to contribute to a peaceful society integrated with EU values. IDEIS strives to foster collective thinking to find solutions to the divides between individuals from various secular and religious backgrounds in the Netherlands. The foundation’s goals are to promote a peaceful society based on conscious identity and mutual respect among diverse faiths and identities. It particularly focuses on the religious experiences and practices of young people, as expressed through (secularized) religious traditions in the pluralistic society of the Netherlands.
The Foundation`s Objectives
IDEIS aims to contribute to a peaceful society based on a conscious identity and respect for others, being a responsible member of the Dutch society where diverse beliefs and identities coexist. IDEIS focuses on the religious experiences and practices of young people, especially as manifested through (secularized) religious traditions in the pluralistic society of the Netherlands.

IDEIS primarily monitors and researches developments at national and international levels, particularly in the areas of radicalization, Islamophobia, and polarization. The focus of the studies is on fostering connections between different groups, ensuring that each group is recognized, valued, and tolerated within its individuality.
IDEIS possesses deep expertise in areas such as radicalization and its prevention, racism, marginalization, Islamophobia, religious education, as well as the integration and adaptation of immigrants, identity development, training of trainers, and developing educational programs for young people.
Additionally, IDEIS has extensive experience in participating in and partnering with international projects funded by the EU. IDEIS continues its work based on social community and educational sciences.
