  1. Which educational programs are available at IDEIS Education and Research Institute? IDEIS offers graduate and doctoral programs as well as certificate and short-term training programs. The programs are aimed at students and professionals who want to specialize in different fields such as social sciences, religious sciences, values education, educational sciences Announcement of graduate and doctoral programs will be made on the institute's website. The current certificate programs are the ones announced on our website.

  2. How are these training programs conducted? Face to face or online? The trainings are organized in face-to-face, online or hybrid formats according to the needs of the participants. This flexibility provides convenience for national and international participants.

  3. In which languages are the courses available? Are there any programs in English or in another language? The courses are generally offered in Turkish, English and Dutch. However, there are English course options for international students and multilingual content in some programs.

  4. Who are the academic staff conducting the courses and what are their qualifications? The academic staff consists of nationally and internationally recognized academics who are experts in fields such as religious sciences, social sciences and educational sciences. Detailed information about our staff is available on the institute's website. The academic staff conducting the courses and their areas of expertise are specified in the programs' contents.

  5. What are the requirements for application to educational programs? An associate, bachelor's or master's degree, school records or transcript, language proficiency certificates and letters of reference are generally required for application to the programs. Detailed information can be found in the application guides. For some certificate programs, a personal request could be sufficient. In addition, graduation certificates might vary depending on the content and the discipline of the certificate program. This is stated in the application guide of the each certificate program.

  6. How does the application process for the relevant training program work? Could applications be completed online? Yes, applications are received completely online. The application process is explained step by step on the institute's website.

  7. What are the criteria for student admission to the relevant educational program? Would be there also an interview process? The admission criteria include academic achievement, language proficiency and for some programs, an interview process. Detailed criteria for the application process are included in the description of each program.

  8. How can I find out the fee for the relevant program? What are the payment terms? The fees of the training programs are stated on the institute's website or in the program announcements. Payment terms are arranged in accordance with the budget of the participants.

  9. Would be a refunding in case of inattendance of the relevant training program due to compelling   reasons? The refund policy is evaluated in accordance with the official guidelines of the institute. Mandatory cases are examined together with the relevant documents. If the problems are in line with the relevant regulations, a refund might be granted.

  10. Can students work as research or teaching assistants? Yes, students who are successful in the interview can gain both professional and academic experience by taking part in research projects or teaching assistant positions.

  11. Where can I find out the duration of the respective training programs? The duration of each training program is specified on the institute's website and in the documents related to that program.

  12. Will the individual who has registered for the relevant training program lose his/her rights if he/she cannot attend the program due to compulsory reasons? Compulsory situations are evaluated by the Graduate School administration and alternative solutions such as registration suspension may be offered.

  13. Is there a time limit for Graduate / PhD programs? Yes, these programs must be completed within a certain period of time. The duration varies according to the type of program and the relevant regulations of the IDEIS Foundation and the academic rules of the Graduate School. This applies to the programs to be offered.

  14. I am following a master's/doctoral program at a university. How can I get support from the institute regarding my academic field of study? Depending on the structure of the academic field of study and the status of the relevant lecturer, the board of directors may assign an academician, taking into account the field of specialization. Depending on the nature of the academic study, paid or free academic support can be provided to the student.

  15. What are the compulsory and elective courses in Graduate/PhD education programs? While compulsory courses provide basic academic knowledge and skills, the elective courses contribute to the specialization of students according to their interests.

  16. Are internships or fieldwork required in Graduate/PhD programs? Some programs might require internships or fieldwork. This is done to ensure the practical application of academic knowledge.

  17. Which education programs at the Institute of Educational Research accept international students? Many study programs are open to international students. Language proficiency and equivalence of academic credentials are required for admission.

  18. Which theological approaches are studied at the Educational Research Institute? Contemporary and traditional theological approaches, denominational and inter-religious studies are the main focus of the Institute.

  19. Are there studies on civics, ethics and values education at the Institute for Educational Research? Yes, scientific studies in the field of morality and values education are included in the relevant programs of the institute. Some modules such as ZELVI-MIRAS, developed by academics of our institute and presented in many international scientific events, are already being implemented.

  20. Are inter-religious dialog studies conducted within the Educational Research Institute? Yes, the institute promotes understanding and cooperation between different faith communities through interfaith dialogue activities.

  21. In which fields are certificate programs offered at the Educational Research Institute? Certificate programs are offered for specialization in fields such as social sciences, religious sciences and educational sciences.

  22. Is there a fee for certificate programs? How to find out the fees and payment methods? Certificate programs are fee-based. Fees and payment terms are listed on the institute's website.

  23. Is financial support provided for scientific projects? Yes, financial support for participants in scientific projects can only be provided with the approval of another institution that we apply to provide financial support within the scope of the subject area.
